This is official symbol for Sochi 2014 Olympic Games.
What can be more weird than Skiing Dolphin? But for the citizens of Sochi it seemed OK. Maybe because they had none to choose from... (just like at the recent Presidantial elections...)

There is nothing weird about it, Sochi is a coastal,tropical city, with snowy mtns beside it, the dolphin is a symbol of a tropical city, and the skis are for the snowy mountains.
